What is the difference between control cables and power cables?
1. The control cable has the characteristics of moisture-proof, anti-corrosion and anti-damage, and can be laid in tunnels or cable trenches. Power cables are used to transmit and distribute high-power electrical energy in the main line of the power system. The control cables directly transmit electrical energy from the power distribution point of the power system to the power connection lines of various electrical equipment and appliances. The rated voltage of the power cable is generally 0.6/1kV and above, and the control cable is mainly 450/750V.
2. When power cables and control cables of the same specification are produced, the thickness of the insulation and sheath of the power cables is thicker than that of the control cables.
3. The copper core cross-section of the control cable generally does not exceed 10 square meters, and the power cable is mainly used for power transmission, generally 2.5-400mm2 copper core cross-section.
4. In terms of the number of cable cores, the power cable is generally 5 cores at most according to the requirements of the power grid, while the control cable is used to transmit control signals and has a large number of cores. According to the standard, there are 61 cores. It can also be produced according to user requirements. 
Control cable material

The operating temperature of the control cable: 65°C for rubber insulation, and 70°C and 105°C for PVC insulation.
